Show HN: Agentify Chat – E2E-Encrypted Remote Chat for Codex, Claude, Grok CLIsStill under heavy development and rough around the edges but instead of sitting on this longer to perfect it I'll risk flak and share it.Essentially chat.agentify.sh is a remote control for codex/grok/claude cli and dream goal is to become a universal remote that will let you use all of them from a single chat.Everything lives on your browser including the chat. The only thing sent over the wire is the encrypted chat messages e2e. Here's an architectural diagram: https://github.com/agentify-sh/chat/blob/main/diagram.pngAnother feature it has is ability to publish your chat session with redaction (ex. https://chat.agentify.sh/#share=chat_cc62055bfc854537baf10d0...) so you can share with your team.Curious to gather any feedback I can, if this is something I should continue to pursue etc. Also if by chance you are in Seattle today, I'll be also at the Walk & Talk event at Bellevue Downtown Park today at 2:30pm, would love to chat in person!https://chat.agentify.sh

Show HN: FOSS sandbox platform for zero trust remote access without secretsIMAGE

Show HN: FOSS sandbox platform for zero trust remote access without secretsCordium is a FOSS, self-hosted, identity-based, general-purpose, horizontally scalable sandbox platform that is built on k8s and Octelium, my main work. The main differentiator for Cordium, when compared to other dev environments (e.g. GitHub Codespaces) and sandbox platforms (e.g. E2B, Daytona, etc.), is that Cordium automatically provides identity-based, secretless secure access to resources/infrastructure (e.g. APIs, SSH, databases, k8s, etc.) without having to inject credentials (e.g. API keys and access tokens, SSH private keys/passwords, database passwords, mTLS private keys, etc.) into the sandbox where the upstream credential is held by the identity-aware proxy of the Octelium-protected resource outside the reach of the sandbox. The identity-aware proxy injects, on-the-fly, the upstream credential if the user is authorized via the Octelium policies. In short, Cordium is not just an isolated execution environment that can replace remote development environments and sandbox platfo
Photophoretic tracers for near-space remote sensing at 30-100 km altitudesIMAGE

Photophoretic tracers for near-space remote sensing at 30-100 km altitudesBenjamin SchaferRarified Technologies, Inc. We propose a new approach to atmospheric sensing at 30-100 km altitudes using photophoretically levitating tracers. These lightweight structures harness sunlight to remain suspended for up to months at controlled altitudes and can be remotely tracked by satellite-based lidar or radar. Unlike natural aerosols, these tracers are designed to provide strong and […]

Show HN: I MitM'd Plex to make remote streaming suck lessIMAGE

Show HN: I MitM'd Plex to make remote streaming suck lessI've been hoarding media for a long time. Longer than I care to think about honestly. At this point the collection is large enough that several of the friends and family members I've shared my Plex server with have cancelled their streaming service subscriptions. After getting laid off a while back, I started working on a degree online. It seemed like a good opportunity to spend some time traveling too, so I signed up for Starlink and got a friend to host my Plex server in his basement for the duration. Surely that would be good enough to watch whatever from where-ever.Turns out that no, it's not. Plex really doesn't like streaming over Starlink. It would top out at 8-9mbps in good conditions, often dropping down to 2 or 3, while other streams and downloads would happily hum along at 100mbps+.I spent a little time looking into the issue early on. None of the remote or server network changes I could think of made a noticable difference. Customizing Plex's internal MPV configuration to in

Show HN: Sigil – FIDO2 key-derived P2P remote desktop (agentic workflow retro)I built a remote desktop app where your FIDO2 security key acts as the address. The hmac-secret produces the same Iroh P2P node identity on both ends. That means there are no accounts, pairing, or VPN required.I documented an agentic development workflow retrospective, including PoC spikes, spec driven design, agentic roadbumps, and what "shipping v0.1" means to me. This writeup covers the agentic development process-changes I am making to adapt to various evolving DevEx tools; focusing on ergonomics, efficiency, and elegance. cargo install --git https://args.io/cat/sigil sigil
Show HN: Jabsco – agent harness that works remotely through RDPIMAGE

Show HN: Jabsco – agent harness that works remotely through RDPHi - have wanted this for months but searches keep coming up empty. For having agents create and connect to local test VMs - build me a Windows VM, try out this script/software on it, give me back results. The agent can create VMs in Hyper-V and manage them through RDP. Runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. Strictly Claude API at the moment.Would love to branch out to other VM hosts, remote desktop protocols and LLMs. Thanks for checking it out!
