Ask HN: Best way to archive 25 years of emailsI have emails from 1997-98 onwards all in one massive inbox, currently on gmail with emclient on Mac as the mail client (there have been probably a dozen services starting from self-hosted in the beginning). I would like to archive the historic mails for the first 25 years, but in a way that's actually searchable and usable in the future (and potentially importable to a new mail client/service) and not in any particular mailbox format that may go obsolete. There is no good reason to hoard them, other than "I feel like doing so". What are the best options, and tools?

Thousands march in Washington for Defend the Vote rallySixty-three years after the March on Washington, thousands gathered Friday in the nation's capitol for a Defend the Vote rally and warned that voting rights are under attack again. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court weakened a key provision of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, making it harder for people to challenge voting maps they argued were racially discriminatory. Tylik McMillan, national director of youth and college for the NAACP and one of the speakers at Friday's march, joins CBS News to talk about the day.

Show HN: Telem – Route agent web search across providers and inspect the tracesTL;DR: Web search open router that routes agent web search across providers (Exa, Parallel, Tavily, Brave, SerpAPI etc.), and traces web search results with quality metrics, so you can visualize whether a bad agent run is a web search problem or a reasoning problem.I work in venture capital, and before that I worked in information retrieval. When agents went viral, I built a due diligence agent for my day job. I vibe-coded the first version. It was pretty bad. My first reaction is to blame the model. I tried to change backend models, maybe because Fable doesn't want to help me do people search? Maybe because GPT 5.5 overthinks things? I tried DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen; I changed prompts again and again, no good. Then I stopped just simply checking the final answer and started reading the actual trajectories: what did the agent search for? What came back? What pages did it read? At what point agents were off the rail?Pretty interesting: Sometimes the agent is stuck and confused because the i

Show HN: I built a search engine for 800 niche job boardsI started JobBoardSearch about four years ago as a simple directory of niche job boards (A static HTML file with a dozen job boards)One particular think I'm proud of: I didn't scrape these niche job boards and add them to a dabatabase. The 800+ job boards currently listed were submitted organically by their ownres.Lots of their job boards provide a job feed (API, XML or RSS), I fetch those feeds and use the data in serveral different ways. Each job board has its own page in JBS, where I show jobs from that board. I call this the "meta" part of the site. The same feed powers a few other things I built:- A subreddit bot that automatically post jobs every hour to the /r/jobboardsearch subreddit, which has grown to 26k memebers.- A free telegram bot that sends personalized job alerts based on custom settings: keywords, locations, industry, candence, etc. The Telegram community passed 6k members.- The main job search itself. The interesting part is that the same data creates several distributi
