Show HN: My Daily Journal – An iOS Digital Journal Without Subscriptionshttps://mdj.geodim.dev/I built a journaling app because I wanted something simple, private, and reliable - without subscriptions, third-party servers, or ads. Most journaling tools felt over-engineered or locked behind recurring payments. I wanted something lightweight and accessible.Right now it’s free for testing and feedback. Long term, I’ll add a single one-time unlock, not a subscription. This was my first big React Native project, I learned a lot about iCloud sync and native integrations along the way!*Features so far:*- iCloud backup (no external servers) - Daily highlights with a single image (on purpose) - Pin lock + biometrics - Custom prompts for entries - Morning & evening journaling - Mood tracker (syncs with Apple Health) - Weekly challenges & daily quotes (Stoic + others coming) - Reminders & timeline view*Would love feedback on:*- The UI/UX: does the minimalist approach work? - Features: what feels essential, missing, or over-complicated?App link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/my-daily-journa

Show HN: Personalized insights from your bookmarks delivered every Sundayhttps://apps.apple.com/us/app/eyeball-recaps-for-your-mind/id6670705634Sharing something that I’ve been working on:I made a save-later app for all my bookmarks. I save links throughout the week and, every Sunday morning, the app sends me a personalized recap with: -patterns and themes that connect my week to my broader interests -a nudge toward links I saved but never revisited -one reflective question to help me decide what else might be worth exploringI was inspired by older read-later apps like Instapaper. I wanted to make something minimalist, so it’s just a simple feed of your links (with tags and annotations linked to each link) and it is set up to ingest all kinds of content, not just text. I also did want it to be bloated as the full-fat AI stuff you see recently. So this is a simpler and more proactive take on the concept of a bookmarking app.Happy to answer any questions. (I’m not technical.)

Tasks Per Day – A minimalist productivity app that workshttps://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44133072Built a Flutter app that limits you to 3 daily tasks. No feature bloat, no subscriptions, just focus on what matters. Born from a Reddit discussion about simple living. The ProblemMost productivity apps suffer from feature creep. They start simple but gradually add calendars, teams, AI assistants, notifications, analytics, and eventually become the very complexity they promised to solve. I was drowning in a 20-item daily to-do list when I found a Reddit thread in r/simpleliving discussing the "three tasks rule."The Solution3 Tasks Per Day does exactly what the name suggests. Each day, you choose three tasks that matter most. That's it.Core features:1. Plan 3 tasks per day (morning/afternoon/evening) 2. Optional calendar sync with device reminders 3. Task completion with subtle celebration 4. Future planning with calendar view 5. Dark/light themes 6. Privacy-first (no accounts, local storage)Intentionally missing:1. Teams/collaboration 2. Complex project management 3. Time tracking 4. De
