Show HN: Visualizing Apple Health workout data (stats, trends, insights)https://apps.apple.com/us/app/streakout-workout-stats/id6758457318I've just launched this little iOS app as an alternative to Apple Fitness, which is cluttered and chaotic when it comes to visualizing basic workout stats and metrics. The idea is to focus on a clean, minimalistic design and only show high-level metrics that are actually useful, e.g. how often did I work out this week/month/year, cardio vs strength vs mobility, surf session count in February, etc. It's free and offline. Also, no signup, no ads, no data sharing, no social feeds, and no notifications.Just open it and get a quick glance at the state of your workout game within 2s.It's built in native Swift with liquid glass.Feedback is quite good so far, but it seems hard to get initial traction in the App Store, especially with all the AI slob these days. Would deeply appreciate some early downloads and honest reviews.

Show HN: Minimalistic workout tracker for iPhone – Stats, Trends, Streakshttps://streakout.app/Streakout is a minimal iOS workout tracker designed to extend Apple Health & Fitness. It reads your existing workout data and turns it into beautiful tiles, charts, and timelines – helping you answer one of the most important questions for your health: “How often did I move this week, this month, this year…?”Because what really matters is showing up.There’s no signup, no clutter, no subscription, no data sharing, and no noise – only the most relevant stats and insights, neatly packaged into two simple screens: overview and calendar feed.Would deeply appreciate some feedback.LET'S MOVE

Show HN: Ilseon, a Minimalist Focus Filterhttps://github.com/cladam/ilseonI’m excited to share a new productivity app I recently released on the Play Store. It was born out of pure necessity to solve a problem I am constantly faced with: cognitive overload and task paralysis.Since traditional to-do apps only added to the mental noise, I eventually built a small tool for myself called Ilseon. I needed something that would actually reduce cognitive load.I have added some features that helps me in my daily chaos:Context filtering: I work better when I only see what belongs to the role I’m currently in (Work, Family, Health, etc.). Switching context hides everything else, which stops me from bouncing between unrelated tasks or getting overwhelmed by a big master list.Time blocks with a big visible countdown: This externalises time for me in a way alarms or calendars never did. It gives me one clear block to focus on, and the timer helps with time blindness without being stressful. Still figuring out if adding alarms is a good idea or not..A quick reflection loop

Show HN: My Daily Journal – An iOS Digital Journal Without Subscriptionshttps://mdj.geodim.dev/I built a journaling app because I wanted something simple, private, and reliable - without subscriptions, third-party servers, or ads. Most journaling tools felt over-engineered or locked behind recurring payments. I wanted something lightweight and accessible.Right now it’s free for testing and feedback. Long term, I’ll add a single one-time unlock, not a subscription. This was my first big React Native project, I learned a lot about iCloud sync and native integrations along the way!*Features so far:*- iCloud backup (no external servers) - Daily highlights with a single image (on purpose) - Pin lock + biometrics - Custom prompts for entries - Morning & evening journaling - Mood tracker (syncs with Apple Health) - Weekly challenges & daily quotes (Stoic + others coming) - Reminders & timeline view*Would love feedback on:*- The UI/UX: does the minimalist approach work? - Features: what feels essential, missing, or over-complicated?App link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/my-daily-journa

Show HN: Modos Developer Kit Live on Crowd Supplyhttps://www.crowdsupply.com/modos-tech/modos-paper-monitorToday, we’re launching our first product on Crowd Supply: a fast, open-hardware dev kit for driving e-ink displays. It supports 75Hz refresh, both color and monochrome panels, and more. This all started with a post on Hacker News about building an e-ink laptop. That post led to conversations with makers, minimalists, and others exploring how e-ink could fit into daily life, or help with personal health challenges. From those conversations came a community, which grew into a project, became a company, and brought us to today’s launch. We bootstrapped from the beginning, pushing through COVID shutdowns, chip shortages, shipping delays, and adapting to every new challenge along the way.We haven’t built the e-ink laptop yet, but we’ve built a foundation for creating high-performance e-ink devices. We’re sharing our small contribution today in hopes that it helps make e-ink more open and accessible. Thanks for being part of the journey.

Show HN: Quick Calories – Efficient Weight Loss for Software Engineershttps://calories.joeldare.comI faced a sudden career twist recently and I used it as motivation to revisit and improve Quick Calories, an app that helps software engineers quickly track their daily calorie intake. The original idea was born out of my own struggle to find a dieting app that fit my style - something that allowed me to quickly log calories without tedious manual entry. And now, I'm excited to share Quick Calories with HN!What is Quick Calories?- A minimalist app that makes calorie tracking lightning fast.- It keeps a running calorie total and automatically resets daily. Just track your intake and move on with your life.- The math-friendly input lets you perform arithmetic operations on calorie counts, making it easier to log complex meals or snacks. As someone who spends hours staring at screens, I know how hard it is to prioritize health when work-life balance feels like an oxymoron. Quick Calories can be an indispensable tool for a busy software engineer.I'd love to see more software engineers using
