Show HN: Turn casual photos into professional headshots with AIA while back I needed an ID photo for something urgent. The only way to get one was to find a photo studio, book a time, and wait around for it to be printed, and just one set cost about $13 (converted from my local currency). With how far AI has come, I felt like this should be easier and cheaper by now.So, I built Portraify. It turns 1–3 casual photos into professional headshots, and also does US passport photos and 1-inch / 2-inch ID photos. The thing I cared most about was likeness. A headshot or an ID photo is only useful if it actually looks like you, otherwise there's no point. So the AI is tuned to reproduce the real you, no beautifying, no de-aging. It also checks your input photos before generating (lighting, sharpness, face visibility), so you don't waste a generation on a photo that was never going to work.I know people care a lot about uploading their face to some random AI tool, so to be clear: input photos are processed in memory and discarded after generation. Show HN: TeamShotsPro – AI team headshots from a selfie in 60 secondsHey HN! I built TeamShotsPro because getting consistent, professional headshots for a team is a pain — coordinating schedules, hiring photographers, and the results still look mismatched.TeamShotsPro lets each team member upload a single selfie and get a studio-quality AI headshot in about 60 seconds. The key is consistency: everyone gets the same lighting, background, and style so the team page actually looks cohesive.Built with Next.js 15, Google Gemini for image generation, BullMQ for async processing, and Stripe for billing. The hard part was getting the AI to produce headshots that look natural rather than "AI-generated", we spent a lot of time on prompt engineering and post-processing.Would love feedback on the product and the generation quality. Happy to answer any questions about the tech stack or approach!

Show HN: I built an AI-powered professional headshot generatorHello HN,I've created QuickHeadshots (https://www.quickheadshots.com), an AI-powered service that generates high-quality professional headshots from a few selfies. As a developer, I found existing solutions lacking in consistency and quality, so I decided to build my own. The app uses fine-tuned stable diffusion models to create realistic, professional-looking headshots suitable for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, or any other professional use. This is the result of a lot of experimentation around this to get to a decent quality. The goal has been quality and faithfulness to uploaded images.I'd love to get your feedback on the user experience, technical suggestions or any other aspects of the project. What do you think about the current state of AI-generated images for professional use? Are there any features you'd like to see added?I'm also happy to answer any questions. If you're interested in trying it out, drop a line at drop a line to support-at-quickheadshots.com for a discou
