Show HN: Alchemize – Review AI Slop PRs Fasterhttps://tryalchemize.com/Hey HN, we’re Robert and Sam. We’re building Alchemize, a code review platform that simplifies PRs to help you ship faster. Here’s a demo video: https://www.tella.tv/video/simplify-pr-reviews-with-alchemiz... Sample to try: https://app.tryalchemize.com/exampleAgentic coding has 10x’d code output. Teams are opening larger PRs more frequently, but the current tools don’t support this new coding paradigm. GitHub still presents files without structure. As engineers reviewing these massive diffs more frequently, we spent hours painstakingly reconstructing where changes began, mapping out data flows, and figuring out where human judgement is actually needed.Instead of adding another bug bot or just summarizing the PR, Alchemize analyzes diffs and pulls in prompting sessions to help reveal the author’s (human and agents) intent. PRs are broken down into smaller, manageable chunks that highlight exactly where the reviewer needs to jump in.After authorizing your GitHub account, Alchemize has a tw

Show HN: Seal – Open-source P2P encrypted chat in Rust and Taurihttps://github.com/Emn4tor/SealHey y'all, I've built a completely free open-source p2p Messanger in my free-time. Most 'private' messengers still rely on central server infrastructure to queue and hold messages in an inbox - that makes it a target for metadata or message collection. With Seal there is NO Server-Side Inbox: Every Message directly travels from peer to peer via libp2p. Every Message is 'sealed' using Olm (1:1) and Megolm for groups via vodozemac The only server needed is a directory server, which purely acts asa short-lived adress lookup tableThe Architecture is interesting too, your chat identity is an Ed25519/Curve25519 keypair generated locally, your public ID is simply the key fingerprint.I'd love to hear your thoughts on the project.I used Claude to help draft the initial code comments explaining the reasoning behind key architectural decisions, but I manually reviewed, audited, and corrected every single comment.

Show HN: Tesserae, self-hosted dashboards for e-ink panelshttps://tesserae.ink/Hi all,This is a project I’ve been working on for the last 10 or so weeks. Tesserae is a self-hosted dashboard server for e-ink panels. It allows you to build dashboards in two ways. A card-based editor that lets you tessellate different widgets side by side in resizable cells. Or a canvas editor which lets you drag and drop elements on a free-form canvas. You can also drive the canvas editor via MCP for some highly detailed dashboards.I fell down this rabbit hole after impulse buying a 13.3” Spectra 6 display. I knew I wanted to write my own software for it. I wanted something user-friendly, extensible, and able to host multiple displays. This drove the drop-a-folder architecture. Adding widgets, themes, devices, and renderers involves just dropping a folder into Tesserae.Tesserae ships with over 30 widgets pre-installed, plus a community marketplace that hosts many more (admittedly most of those are my own builds). This began as a solo project but has grown into a small community with p

Show HN: Mr_tech – Treating 3D games as source code, not as their runtimehttps://github.com/markel1974/godoomI've been working on mr_tech, a from-scratch 3D engine in Go built around a question I wanted to answer:Can a 3D game be reverse-engineered, without infringing copyright, understood as source code, and transformed into a sufficiently general Intermediate Representation (IR) that allows it to execute on a runtime for which it was never designed? The idea is to treat a game as source code, not as its runtime — the way a compiler treats its source files.Instead of reproducing the original game engine, the game is processed through a compiler-like pipeline:3D game → reverse engineering → frontend → semantic representation → IR → mr_tech runtimeThe runtime provides its own geometry/topology processing, dynamic spatial structures, rigid-body physics, entities and independent rendering backends (OpenGL and software).I've used the approach to experiment with multiple historical 3D game engines, including Doom, Quake, Jedi and Wolfenstein. The interesting question for me is not how many games it

Show HN: Overlay – Design with your React components and CSS tokens in your IDEhttps://www.overlay.studio/Hey HN, I'm Francesco. I've spent the last year building Overlay, a UI editor that runs inside your IDE and renders your actual React components (not a redraw of them), using your real CSS tokens.I'm a design engineer and, especially with AI, I found myself spending more and more time in the codebase rather than in Figma. Trying out ideas in code with AI is a lot of fun, but there are specific moments where I need to sketch things out on a classical visual canvas. The problem is, when you work mostly with code and your codebase moves faster than your Figma library, stopping to import your latest components into Figma is an energy-killer.So I built Overlay to get quick access to my React components on a canvas. It's a VS Code extension, so opening the canvas takes seconds. Your components are already there, and you're designing with the real thing: the editor is a normal DOM document, not a WebGL canvas. From there, working with AI (via MCP) is also a breeze. The agent already has acces

The observations reveal that the evolved star IRS 3 continues to enrich its surroundings with newly formed material despite the intense radiation environment around Sagittarius A*.
