The interesting bit is the Business / Usage rules, as they are provided in a mixture of prose and pseudo code by SWIFT. I used coding agents (Claude code mainly) to go from text to python, still a fairly labour intensive task - but considerably quicker than manually doing the same. Like many I've been using LLMs to help accelerate the writing of code in my own company and side projects and have been quite optimistic and satisfied with the quality and experience of using the Cursor IDE chat -> composer -> agents to enhance the developer experience.However, recently it seems like there has been a shift in how agents work (I am mainly referring to using Cursor agents here but the seems to also apply for Claude Code). When I introduce a problem to the agent a while ago it used to just start writing code. I remember having to be explicit about selecting the files or even lines I wanted it to edit or generate code in, and be quite precise in supplying the LLM with the relevant context. These days I will write a similar prompt to what I would do before: "Refactor X.ts into separate files /utils/[module].ts using the /shared/utils directory as an example". No account, no network after install.The model running once reading a sentence was the easy part. Making it not feel like a demo was the rest: streaming synthesis so playback starts before the sentence finishes, porting misaki to swift because I could only find python releases, thermal monitoring and strategy was a tough one as well. Runs well on iPhone 14 Pro(what I have) and newer. Tested on my mom's iPhone 12 Pro and it chokes sometimes, so I ported KittenTTS as a lighter fallback for older devices. That is where the demos are and where controlled release maps cleanly onto existing disclosure practice. I have not seen anyone engage with the next obvious question: what happens when a Mythos-class model is given detailed hardware architecture documentation and asked to do a security-oriented review? My intuition is the hardware case is meaningfully worse, for reasons beyond "hardware is harder."The tight feedback loop that makes Mythos effective on software partially breaks on hardware: no sandbox, no instant PoC iteration. But this is actually where an LLM could shine. Fusing disparate technical sources is what these models are unusually good at, and hardware security is bottlenecked by how few humans can hold all the context in their heads at once.
