Show HN: Hosted LLM Wikihttps://getmana.md/Karpathy-sensei gist hit me directly, and i built end to end hosted version of it, after using ad-hoc version myself for a few months.Whole point is to have agent iterate on same files, and reuse past results. It works quite well.Underneath, it’s a hosted Pi (:love:) agent runtime, some templates, an Astro renderer, a few widgets, and hosting for a Markdown wiki backed by your GitHub repo.Good example of how i use it is travel planning, since i move quite a bit. It has builtin web search, and a few widgets like checklists and live weather, which makes it useful. Another thing which was quite good is Karpathy proposed workflow of ingesting and cross linking papers.Everything written is commited to your own github repo, so you can take it whenever you want, and you get edit history.I’m not an Obsidian user myself, but pointing Getmana at an existing Obsidian vault seems to mostly just work. My specific device is a Bigme Hibreak Pro BW but I'm aiming for relatively broad compatibility.I've recently switched to a black-and-white e-ink smartphone with the motivation of withdrawing from the attention economy somewhat and it's a genuinely cool piece of hardware. While the majority of my needs are met by this device there are a few things I'd like to have which don't work terribly well with the e-ink screen. I'm planning to implement a couple of projects to fill these gaps, at the moment I'm planning a Lemmy frontend and an OpenRouter frontend specifically for e-ink. Noteworthy unsolved math problems are being solved at an alarming rate. Agent swarms have executed hacks at the level of nation state actors. Depending on the domain, frontier AI models demonstrate intelligence at human levels or above. And capabilities are improving at a rapid rate at every level of the stack with no signs of slowing down. At this point it feels like we are witnessing one of the most significant events in world history. The risks and downsides are obviously catastrophic in nature.
