Adv. 2025) are one of the flagship "quantum computers are useful for chemistry now" claims, and a published critique (arXiv:2501.07231) argues the quantum samples never beat classical selected-CI at matched cost. That argument is still live.Both sides have been arguing about energies. Neither measured which electronic state these calculations actually converge to.So I measured it. ⟨S²⟩ comes out between 4.7 and 7.0 depending on the system and the subspace size, where the target these papers name is a singlet at ⟨S²⟩ = 0. Every starting guess I tried lands in the same place, and the error at convergence is about the size of the spin-state ladder itself, which is the physics under dispute.IBM ships a mitigation for this. To my disappointment they were... not great. I took a way of comparing qualities and disadvantages of each web search engine back then. What I discovered I cared about the most was privacy (like DuckDuckGo), ecology (Ecosia) and Google index (likely to signal quality of results, Startpage). To my disappointment there wasn't a single one that I could find that offered all 3 of these qualities. After a long time of deciding if and how I could build my own web search engine I decided to do it.At first, for 4 years, it was just a private and ecological meta search engine. But I didn't have the money to grow user base while relying on 3rd party APIs to deliver results. I had to create own index. I spent 1.5 years on web crawler, made from scratch in Rust btw. A generated game is usually a single HTML file; making it two-player means a server, WebSockets, state sync, and hosting. So we threw out the platform and built only that part.Antics is a browser SDK plus a hosted relay: real-time rooms, host-authoritative state sync, leaderboards. No server to run, no player accounts.
