But the fact i was happy still surprises me.It has been ~1.5 years since i graduated from my college and got to work as a software engineer. I got decent job with decent salary (at least pretty good in my area). The workplace itself considered as a "fun" environment: sleeping pod, ping pong table, coffee machine and no cubicles. I am locked out of my PC because of Windows 8 Login catch-22I wanted to use my calendar in Windows Metro. No biggie right? Wrong.I get forced to create a "microsoft account", I have to come with a random email address, which I do, followed by a password, equally as long and random. I do. It asks me for my phone, I say no thanks later.I reboot my PC.My login has suddenly changed. It displays the email address I just used to setup my calendar. My password doesn't work.Panic.I try again, now it has done a remote server checked, determined I have had too many tries and asks me to use an ONLINE recovery sysem OR Enter in my last password.There was no last password, it is a brand new top of the range laptop. Today I finally did it and paid very close attention to the permission I was granting to the game. Call of duty asks for permission to access all your basic info, view your photos, and post to your wall. A bit hefty, but I wanted to see who else was playing modern warfare 3 so I agreed. I was logged in, and when I went to my friends list i was informed it found no results so was pretty much pointless.
