Depending on your answer when asked this question, you may see a range of reaction. Some occupation will cause awe, others indifference. But for a number of reasons, telling about your occupation may also give you contempt in return. If you have experienced this before, then talking about each other occupations, a usually dull topic of conversation, becomes sensitive. You may even become hesitant discussing it. I have had awkward reactions and even heard disapproving comments about my job in the past few years. Sure, I do not expect to be praised like a brain surgeon, in fact I though people would not care about me being a web developer. But it seems my field of work, the web or the tech industry more generally, has a bad notoriety in the eyes of most people. I can't imagine that I'm the only person in the same boat. Sitting at a desk working in a silo with only digital communication with strangers is one of the most depressing things I have ever done. I would probably find it different if I had been at a job for a while before going remote, but establishing friendships and comradery remotely just isn't the same.I want to feel the energy of being in a startup office again. The early day energy, the conversations that happen in the breakroom, the unlikely friendships that lead to amazing new projects and great ideas. What companies and startups are still doing work primarily in the Bay Area where people go into an office and work together for at least 3 days a week?At some point, I wonder if having an office and having everybody together is going to be a competitive advantage for the companies that can manage to pull it off, at least in the early days before things get too corporate no mDec 13, 2021 7:21 PM

It’s basically a live database connector for Google Sheets that allows for data refreshes.Before we started working on this, we were working on an idea around data pipelines. It didn’t take off so we had to pivot mid-batch. We had less than 1 month to do user interviews, build our product, get it approved, and launch it. To start with, we knew we wanted to stay in the data space. We spent the first week talking to over 30 people at different companies. In those conversations, we noticed that sales, marketing, and operations teams constantly need to ask developers to help them export data from the database and often have to submit follow-on data requests because they forgot to add a dimension needed for analysis (they often do this by submitting Jira tickets). The leaks reportedly comprise "over 1700 pages" of Telegram conversations.In the small portion of the leaks published so far, Moro suggests how operation Carwash should proceed, indicates possible witnesses, directs and counsels the prosecution on how to present evidence and even anticipates his rulings. Lula's defense points out this is grounds for annulment of the entire case. Brazil is currently split in polarization and the leaks are taking precedence over other political matters which until last week dominated the discourse (such as the proposed welfare reforms).Moro and the Prosecutor's Office did not deny the conversations took place but Moro did not explicitly confirms the contents are true.
