Ask HN: What's the endgame of the AI comments buried in every post?A lot of submissions nowadays have a few LLM comments (whether directly written by an agent, or human with a LLM I don't know), often downvoted and sitting at the end of the comment section. No-one even bothers to call them out anymore, it's just part of the landscape. Just wondering why ? What's the point for these people ?

Show HN: Codex CLI compiled to WASM running in the browserHi HN! As part of our ongoing work on BrowserPod, an in-browser WebAssembly sandbox, we have significantly expanded what the Rust WebAssembly target can achieve. Our approach proved so robust that we could get the whole Codex CLI (~1.25M lines of Rust, excluding dependencies) to run in the browser, with extremely minimal modifications. Now, Codex CLI by itself could not do much, but BrowserPod provides a full environment with standard Linux command line tools, bash, git, Node.js and Python, with more yet to come. All of these are compiled to WebAssembly and run concurrently on top of BrowserPod kernel. To learn more about our work on Rust and BrowserPod in general: https://labs.leaningtech.com/blog/browserpod-rust

Show HN: Pack AI and scientific models as self-contained boxesHi! I've been working on an open-source project called Scrollcase. I started this cause moving Python or ML projects between machines is often painful. You need the right Python version, libraries, native builds, model files, and so on. So instead of making someone rebuild a Python environment on their machine, Scrollcase packages everything once, including Python, locked dependencies, code, and model files. Then they can verify it, unpack it, and run it. No Python install, no pip install, no Docker, and no dependency to mantain. You just define what goes inside, lock the dependencies, and build a portable, self-contained, verifiable package that's ready to run.Would love feedback from people who had to package Python, ML, or scientific environments for machines they don't control.

Show HN: Infinitely nestable visual task organizer and workload simulatorI built ProjectZen because ordinary task managers often show what needs doing, but not whether the accumulated workload is realistic. The homepage includes a working demo, no login required. I’d especially value feedback on whether the workload view makes sense without explanation and whether it would change how you plan a real project. This project is personally interesting to me because, as a product manager for many years, I never found a tool with the usability and visual workload simulation I knew was possible. Without the latter, I felt disoriented and more helpless when it came to being pressured into scope creep. ProjectZen was created as a side project using Angular, Django, Google App Engine, Google Cloud SQL, and Firebase Authentication. The tool includes Infinite nesting for breaking down projects and tasks (inspired by tools like Workflowy and Dynalist) Displaying items in kanban boards Visualization of tasks based on size and simulation of overall workload over time Also inc
