To move away from this would be quite an effort.However, I've been contemplating moving away from Gmail for quite some time now and this might be just the push I needed.We hardly use Google drive or any of the other services so it should not be too painful. For all of our other services, we have been using Microsoft Office 365, which comes with Word, Excel, etc. Since this is a personal (family) plan [1] which we subscribe to, Microsoft does give an option for custom domains but only via GoDaddy [2].Since the domain isn't registered with GoDaddy, this isn't an option. And the Microsoft 365 Business Basic Plan at $5/user/month doesn't give any offline office products, so the option would be to go for the next tier of $8.25/user/month.I would prefer to just move my email to some other provider since we already have Microsoft OutJan 19, 2022 7:22 PM

Once when my uncle was out of town and wanted to forward some email in his account to someone. I did that. What happened was once I clicked on forward it took 5 minutes to open the To box and after that when I entered the email ID and clicked on send. It took 30 minutes to complete the operation till then it just showed me the circular loading icon.Second time: I had to check one of my old godaddy account information. I opened yahoo.com, logged in mail. It took 15 minutes to load. Then i clicked on mail to read it did not respond. I reloaded thrice and it responded after 15 minutes again.I am using Gmail, Facebook, etc. None of them are so slow at my place.Why does Yahoo Mail service is slow like turtle ? I immediately updated all of domains at GoDaddy to use the new number (about 50 of them).Today, I get an email from them saying that three of my domains have been canceled and I have to pay a redemption fee to get them back. I email support with a, "Uh, wtf guys?" and they say my CC was declined when they tried to auto-renew (wtf? their crappy backend told me that change that gone through!) and that I had a grace period but didn't renew -- I save all my emails and never got one from them about these domains (I get a ton of email from these guys, but often have noticed that it's sort of random -- some domains will generate an email when they auto-renew, some won't ... but whatever, it had never been a problem before).So now I can't afford to stay with GoDaddy and risk losing a more important domain (like, railsforum.com), so I need to transfeJun 23, 2009 6:18 PM
