I created that because I initially wanted it to make enough money to pay a utility bill, and it ended up being my main source of income.The rub was that I had eBay doing all the promotion for the app because of a special circumstance: they had an app store initiative, and it wasn’t as popular as they hoped with developers, so they closed it down and left only 50 apps there; mine being one of them.So, I got a ton of leads I didn’t have to work for, which was a blessing and a curse because I never had to teach myself any real marketing. But I’ve always wanted to - I just could never sink my teeth into that eBay app I wrote. That’s because I originally wrote it for my brother who was an eBay seller, and though I tried to get into it myself, I never could. Selling on eBay sucks.
