Multiple answers allowed!Please keep in mind that HN users (on average) do not qualify as "average dude in the street". Whoever he/she/they may be. What may seem ordinary/known to many on HN, may not seem so to most other people. And the reverse may also be true: HN users could be less likely to keep tabs on say, the latest memes, TikTok videos or celebrity gossip.Perhaps it's a good idea to leave names of software projects out? I'm really a beginner: I can key at about 15 WPM and am practicing for 20, but I'm still making mistakes, with an extra dit or dah here and there. Thanks to all the YLs and OMs who have worked with me so far!I'm able to decode Morse with pen and paper, as long as it's only 10–15 WPM, but that needs to improve. Most operators recognize CQ without even knowing Morse. I have already learned a few more phrases just by hearing them, like "TEST", "DE", "PSE K", "BK", "BT", etc. Nevertheless, I have issues with more conversational words like "sunny", but it will build up slowly, I'm sure.To help myself out, and to learn something new, I started building a terminal app for Morse decoding. It's built around a neural network that I trained and can pick up quite a bit of text really well.The interface is textual. I’ve been trying to get H100s and the Spot pools I’ve checked are pretty much always full.I ended up trying MI350/MI355s on DigitalOcean Spot and have been running them for about a week without getting interrupted. Curious if anyone else has tried them? How often are you actually getting reclaimed?Also, where are you guys finding capacity these days?

If I set the passcode myself, I can always override my app limits by tapping ignore limit and entering the screetime passcode.So I built WaitToUnlock.com. It's a simple website that generates a random ScreenTime passcode and guides you through entering it in a deliberately confusing way (for example: "enter 3, enter 7 + 2, delete it, now enter 5..."), making it very difficult to remember the final code.The passcode is then securely stored away. If you need it back, you can request it, but you have to wait at least 6 hours before it's revealed.That way, you can still get your passcode back if you really need it, but it removes the ability to override the app limits the moment the temptation strikes.

It uses 6GB of RAM at peak, so most modern Macs, and some iPhone and iPad models should work (I’ve tested on a 17 pro). So I wanted more efficient native code to replace it but also figured that it's often simply too risky and time consuming to rewrite entire codebases in Go, Rust, or others.This idea led the design. By now, Forst is interoperable with Node, so you can call Forst code from Node via IPC or an HTTP sidecar, and even call existing TS code from Go if you're running a Node process as a child process of your Forst host process.
