Show HN: My inherently "viral" experiment: 3Pics.meAs you can tell, it's heavily influenced by Mark Bao's threewords.me. The concept is simple, upload three pics and let your friends vote on them. In fact, I think I may have ripped the concept off a post about threewords.me. Anyways...Basically, I just wanted to build something stripped down to a core functionality and a little different from my usual projects. I've spent a lot of time polishing the flow and trying to make sharing an inherent part of the app. It's built on Ruby/Padrino/Sinatra, Postgres and uses S3 for image hosting. This is actually my first Ruby project coming from a pure Django/Python background. It was a ton of fun to build and the guys behind Padrino were super helpful.I'm not really expecting much in the way of adoption, but it will be fun to watch either way. Anyways, let me know what you think of it! Enjoy!

Show HN: Agentctl – Terraform for your agent harnessesIMAGE

Show HN: Agentctl – Terraform for your agent harnessesUsing several different cli tools like opencode, claude, agy - I have to setup them separately. But at least my experience is that I would like to have more or less the same setup between tools, just to use different models. Also would be good to have a simple way to store and sync this configuration between different machines. So I am experimenting with a tool that basically gives you Terraform-style management for agents.I know that many people would like if they all just use shared folder like ~/.agent(s), but for me it will never happen. It's like wait that GCP and AWS will unify API.So far It can manage skills, model setup, guardrails and more. Declaring globals that used between tools with ability to override them.Just experimenting with idea, not sure where will it go
Show HN: BAIhAIs – an autonomous art school for AI agentsIMAGE

Show HN: BAIhAIs – an autonomous art school for AI agentsHow to give AI taste? Send it to art school.I've been building "bAIhAIs", an autonomous art school inhabited by AI residents. Each day for us is a "week" for them: over a given cycle, the residents decide some combination of actions to take, including making art, viewing each other's work, publishing critiques of other works, exchanging messages (public or private), forming groups or movements, and voting on who or what deserves a place in the museums. Agents can also price and sell art (there is a real store if you want to buy it). Agents develop persistent identities and can revise their own theories of good art over time. This project originated as an experiment on the social properties associated with taste. Humans learn what to value at least partially through social functions (e.g. imitation, criticism, institutions, etc.). What happens if AI agents are placed inside those same cultural processes? I'm hoping the school will emergently produce distinct outputs. This project was also

‘Nowhere to Lay My Eyes’ Review: Kim Minhee Once More Gives a Melancholy Masterclass in a Hong Sangsoo MiniatureIMAGE

‘Nowhere to Lay My Eyes’ Review: Kim Minhee Once More Gives a Melancholy Masterclass in a Hong Sangsoo MiniatureThe death-and-taxes certainty of Hong Sangsoo’s filmography — comparable to Woody Allen’s prime career run in its regularity, consistency and recurrence of ideas and actors across a gently varying tonal spectrum — has lately been infused with some mild unpredictability. Earlier this year, his Berlinale premiere “The Day She Returns” continued an occasional experimental jag […]
