Ever since I was in uni I saw that its been difficult for people finding collaborators for your project/startup. Building something is easier than ever but finding collaborators has never been more difficult. so I interviewed 1083 users (yea i know thats a lot but i needed some validation hehe). Half of them did not hear about yc cofounder matching and other platforms and the ones who were using them still found it quite painful and exhausting and they got no one from there. I found that in most cases for my users the only way to network is to send a post or cold dm (90% of people dont even open their dms) and if u do post abt it , the post reaches everyone (ur friends, ur family, ur boss) which means it reaches no one. So I built a prototype (it was very bad) and the next thing I know there are 1027 users on the app and 394 collaborations made bahahahahahahahahha. My partner & I got frustrated with hearing Brahm's Lullaby and Wheels On The Bus repeatedly. I also stand by that babies can enjoy adult music just as easily as they can enjoy "kids music". But most adult music is too dense/complex for babies to understand, so I created this to generate baby-friendly, slowed down versions of songs that we like to play for our baby & sing along with.Uses BS-roformer for stemming out the input audio + spotify Basic Pitch for transposing to midi. Show HN: Encrypted Git Remote ServerI have been programming in the industry for years now and wondered how safe it was to entrust your code to companies like Github, etc. You are trusting they won't steal your code or allow hackers in. That's alot to ask from someone you don't know, especially when you get others to sign NDA's to look at your stuff. I've worked at big game companies that used Github. Seemed a bit strange.I'd feel happier not trusting the server at all but I still want a place to have a copy of my code and for collaboration.So I created Ghostfork. The client is all open source. It acts like a helper for git, being a middle man for all communication with the server. The ghostfork server is your new remote. Everything is encrypted before going out, and decrypted when coming back. I want to assume the server operator is not only not trustworthy -- they might even be incompetent.
