About thirty testers have been on a pre-production build for a couple of months. SQL is built for backward-looking analysis: what happened, how much, when. It can't tell you whether a given user will churn in the next 30 days. This is a relational machine learning problem: making predictions directly over the structure of a database. It's still a young field, where results are often hard to reproduce, hard to compare across methods, and rarely tested outside benchmarks like RelBench. We argue that these problems have slowed progress in relational learning.We open-source three pieces of software that we expect to accelerate research in the field towards meaningful, real-world impact.First and foremost, we release -α: a unified framework for running and comparing baselines on RelBench v1 tasks. As part of our ongoing work on BrowserPod, an in-browser WebAssembly sandbox, we have significantly expanded what the Rust WebAssembly target can achieve.Our approach proved so robust that we could get the whole Codex CLI (~1.25M lines of Rust, excluding dependencies) to run in the browser, with extremely minimal modifications.Now, Codex CLI by itself could not do much, but BrowserPod provides a full environment with standard Linux command line tools, bash, git, Node.js and Python, with more yet to come. Show HN: Building a full agentic harness around a 4B model is hardAround 3 months ago, we were thinking why none of the iPhone apps running an LLM are built as a full harness (as in inference + agentic loop + context management + tools + MCP servers and etc.). It became more interesting when we noticed even the new Siri is not fully on device (and not available in EU for that matter).Having built a few agentic products around a custom harness in the past, we thought this shouldn't be that hard. well, we underestimated how "dumb" a 4B model can be, especially when it comes to tool calling. :DWe tried 8 different models and we settled on Qwen 3.5 4B and we used every trick we knew to make this model behave. well, it works!It's not gonna win in any intelligence or speed benchmark, but it can do actual useful work and it really is an on device, private, full agentic harness. That said, you can still connect your OpenRouter or OpenAI API keys if that's what you prefer.Please go check it out :) You need an iPhone 15 pro or above.

Show HN: Halftone Stencil CutterI felt in love with simple sprayed stencil making with my new laser engraver but shortly after I thought I could make it to the next level and try something more elaborate.My idea was to create cardboard stencils so I can then airbrush it onto the final medium colour by colour. This isn't anything new, there are online services that would let you to download cuts or even let it order them pre-cut.This sparked an idea of how to simplify the stencil creation process without needing to swap between different software tools - this is how the cutter had been born.It actually works, I usually need to fine tune the cutout shape so the airbrush works to my liking but otherwise it greatly improved my creative process.The UI is rather simple, it contains all the important knobs and transformations needed for the final cut.Happy cutting.
