None-US Claude users: beware if used Fable – account suspension experienceOn Wednesday June 17 I woke up at 6:48 AM (Eastern) local time to an email from Anthropic with the subject: “Your account has been suspended.” It basically says an internal investigation of “suspicious signals” indicates I may be in violation of a supported country policy, and that they revoked my access to Claude. It was followed by two more emails at the exact same time, stating the same thing.I was refunded too: two refunds (one for credits, one for my monthly membership). For context, I’ve been a Claude member for more than two years, and I’ve been on top-tier plans since near the beginning. My use case is mostly business brainstorming, research (business + personal context), and a little coding. So losing access basically stops meaningful work.I appealed immediately. The appeal flow has one “nice surprise”: it allows you to export your data. The drawback: the export link returned a tiny ~235 byte JSON file with basically account metadata (my name, phone, timezone, role, etc.). It d

Show HN: Meadow Notes – extract and publish microsites from your Markdown graphsSometimes I wonder if my life would be better if I'd never bumped into Andy Matuschak's ideas. But I did, and basically got one-shotted by his concept of "evergreen notes", which are notes that are similar to well-factored code. They're small, conceptual, and densely-linked.They're also really hard to share with people, because those links form a complex graph that goes all over the place. You could share individual notes, but since the notes are small and have a lot of links there's not a lot of utility in sharing single notes. You could share all of them, but who in their right mind would want to share _all_ their notes.I found myself wanting to share little groups of notes with different sets of people reasonably often. None of the existing publishing tools I encountered supported automatic curation where it would suggest a candidate graph that I could then modify. Also, none were geared towards publishing lots of little sites.I've spent about a year part-time developing the project

Show HN: brepjs is an open source programmatic CAD library thats runs on webCheck out the playground: https://www.brepjs.dev/playground Github: https://github.com/andymai/brepjsThis project evolved out of another open source project of mine (https://gridfinitylayouttool.com/designer) where I wanted to offer a great (and free) tool to generate models for 3D printing. Its strengths are in parametric parts and architecture. Think OpenSCAD, but in familiar Typescript rather than a custom DSL. It's also based on b-rep topology so shapes are exact mathematical boundaries, measurements are precise, and STEP export is fully supported.

Show HN: Agents, run any coding agent on your subscription not API costsHi HN. I'm the founder of Phoenix Labs (ex TikTok, Applied AI) and we're open sourcing our internal tooling today which is like a toolchain / meta-harness for CLI agents useful for really scaling eng and creative work.We are a very small team who's building a very ambitious product so we had to find ways to squeeze every ounce of efficiency that we could get our hands on. Harness strengths of different models (Claude, GPTs) and CLI-harnesses (Claude Code, Codex), safe/robust browser integration to speed up UX/QA testing, teams cli to speed up security reviews and parallelize bug hunting and fixes, and secrets cli with touch id integration so DX is extremely fast.We also noticed that small things like installing marketplaces, or sharing resources per projects (skills, plugins, secrets, subagents, workflows, rules, permission groups, hooks) took a lot of time so we put everything under ~/.agents and supported multi-layer dot-agents repos, auto layering and syncing system, user and projec

Show HN: AI editor for websites (Next.JS)Hi all,I've playing with an idea to plug LLM into a website editor and see how I make that work. I used mostly Claude Code and a little bit of Codex to build it in my evenings and on weekends. The result is this open source project you can try out on your machine - all you needed is an LLM API key - recommended to use Anthropic models (others are supported but not so well tested).https://github.com/avocadostudio-ai/avocadoIt works for now specifically on Next.js websites but can be easily adapted to any web framework, modern ones especially.I do wonder if this is something of interest for anyone and do want to get your feedback. And of course, Copilot/Assistants are now being added to many products but many of those are expensive SaaS solutions like Adobe's AEM.Thanks, Yury

Show HN: Vyvoice: Privacy-first, cross-platform, offline voice transcription appHey Hacker News, vyvoice is a cross-platform, offline voice transcription app I started working on in December as a Windows user tired of every good dictation app being Mac-only.Beyond transcription, it has built in support for voice commands & gen-AI agents (work-in-progress). Windows, Linux, and macOS are currently supported. The primary product is free, agentic AI and other future premium features will be behind a subscription ($5/month).Underneath the hood vyvoice leverages ONNX to provide transcription via Parakeet and Whisper models locally on the device. I've developed an efficient VAD loop to ensure only segments of audio that contain speech are being processed for transcription. Valid audio segments are decoded in real time with end of utterance. Your audio and transcripts never leave your device.I would love feedback on all aspects from default settings to commands and agent functionality. I am actively working on the agent feature and plan to support skills, MCP, and more in

Ask HN: Is a hands-off, family-friendly, de-Googled "home lab" feasible?I finally got a kick in the pants. I now need a new AC2200 access point for my Google Wifi 5 mesh. Which is no longer sold. And Google decided to make Wifi 6 non-backwards-compatible. So I can either:1) Find one on eBay and try to keep an unsupported system limping along.2) Finally put in the time to set up something under my control.Several things have been bugging me:* The complexity & expense - but mostly complexity - of streaming video in 2026.* The looming worry that one random whim from Google could wipe out my most valuable data (the photos & videos of my kids growing up).* The overall awfulness of the Google Home app & the unreliability of Google Home devices, like speakers.* The amount of personal & family data I implicitly share with Google by just living our regular, daily lives.Someone, somewhere has built exactly the sort of setup I want, and there's a good chance they're on HN. There're probably several "unknown unknowns" that I'm blind to, so I'd appreciate any tips from

Show HN: memory.fm – revisit your life through your music listening historyHi, HN! I'm Siddhant.I've working on memory.fm for a while now. It's a web app that lets you explore your music listening history as a way to revisit different periods of your life.Instead of focusing only on aggregate stats, it surfaces long-term and local patterns such as attachment, repetition, and obsessive listening. The idea is that your listening history often quietly tracks life phases better than you’d expect.Currently only Last.fm users are supported, but I plan to add support for importing Spotify listening history exports.Main Ideas Implemented:1. Attachment Index: It’s something I came up with, in an attempt to model how attached you were to specific artists, album, or tracks during a given period. It combines relative volume and listening concentration. So if you were looping the same album during a breakup or an emotionally intense period, it shows up very clearly.Under the hood, it uses Rényi entropy. For the math-inclined, the formula I'm using is:A = log2(1 + scrobble
