Show HN: I blind-tested 14 LLMs on a WP plugin task. Surprising Findingshttps://github.com/guilamu/llms-wordpress-plugin-benchmark/blob/main/README.mdRecently, GitHub Copilot silently dropped support for Claude Opus on Pro accounts. Since Opus was my go-to model for my daily workflow (developing WordPress plugins), I needed a reliable replacement.I decided to run a rigorous, blind benchmark across 14 state-of-the-art and local LLMs to objectively measure which model understands WordPress development best. To ensure a perfectly fair test, I started with a completely fresh IDE and zero context for every single generation.I asked each model to build a "Gravity Forms Live Search" plugin using a minimal, zero-shot prompt. To avoid personal bias, I had Gemini 3.1 Pro blindly grade the anonymized outputs against a strict 100-point rubric, comparing them to my own reference implementation.Surprising Findings1. The "Blind Spot" (Re-inventing the wheel) Out of 14 models, exactly 0 successfully hooked into the native Gravity Forms search input (#form_list_search). Instead of analyzing the implicit context (the DOM), every single model forcefulApr 23, 2026 7:42 PM

Show HN: Core – open-source AI butler that clears your backlog without youhttps://www.getcore.me/Hi HN, we're Manik, Manoj and Harshith, and we're building CORE (https://github.com/RedPlanetHQ/core), an open source AI butler that acts and clears out your backlog.Write `[ ] Fix the search auth bug` in a scratchpad. Three minutes later, without you at the keyboard, CORE picks it up, pulls the relevant context from your codebase, drafts a plan in the task description, and spins up a Claude Code session in the background to do the work. You review the output in the task chat and unblock it when it gets stuck.Every AI tool today is reactive. You open a chat, brief the agent, it responds. Before anything moves, you've already done the real work: opened the Sentry error, found the commit, read the Slack thread, grabbed the Linear ticket, and stitched it all together into a prompt. The model isn't the bottleneck. You are.Demo Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFk4RJvQg1YCORE removes you from that loop. Rarely used ComPare, Increment & Repeat (CPIR) could be another contender. On RISC-V, I much like the Set-Less-Than (SLT..) instructions. Show HN: FourthSpace – Bridging Social Media with Your Social Lifehttps://www.fourthspace.vipHello I’m Aditya.Me and my co-founder are on a mission to eradicate social media addiction and loneliness off the earth. There’s no reason for us to turn to digital companions of any kind, or be in social isolation, when we can and should be having direct discussions with each other everyday. We're building FourthSpace as a solution to these issues. One of the biggest problems many people are dealing with right now which is preventing them from hanging out with others is the cost of going out, buying drinks, transportation, etc. We've built a beta version of a feature to solve this.If you go to our website and launch an Audio Content Lounge(at the bottom of landing page), you can watch Youtube videos synchronously with your friends or family. You don’t need an account to test it out.Once you’re in you need only copy the link by tapping the ‘share’ button and sending it to whoever you want to join you. And to add a YouTube video simply tap the ‘+ Youtube Video’ button and paste in the linkApr 22, 2026 8:39 PM

Show HN: Callmux – MCP multiplexer that cuts tool call context pollution by ~19xhttps://github.com/edimuj/callmuxEvery tool call an AI agent makes adds tokens to the conversation context. Not just the payload data, but the JSON wrappers, the role markers, and worst of all, the model's intermediate reasoning between calls ("Now I'll fetch the next one..."). These compound: each subsequent call re-processes everything before it, so total input tokens grow quadratically with sequential calls.I built callmux to fix this. It's an MCP proxy that sits between your agent (Claude, Codex, etc.) and any MCP server, adding parallel execution, batching, pipelining, and caching as meta-tools. Instead of 7 sequential get_issue calls, the agent makes 1 callmux_parallel call. The actual data transferred is identical. What you eliminate is the per-call overhead. The math surprised me. For a batch of 7 operations: Without callmux: ~525 tokens of structural overhead + ~900 tokens of intermediate reasoning = ~1,425 tokens of pollution With callmux: ~75 tokens total That's ~19:1 less context pollution from a 7:1 reductApr 22, 2026 5:50 PM

Show HN: Dead Simple Email – Email API for AI Agentshttps://deadsimple.email/We built this after running into the same wall everyone hits: Gmail suspends bot accounts within days, SES is outbound-only with no inbox or threading, and the only purpose-built option jumps from $20/mo to $200/mo with nothing in between. Dead Simple Email gives AI agents their own email addresses via API. No OAuth, no human in the loop. Each inbox gets a real address, send/receive, webhook on inbound mail, and full conversation threading. Infrastructure is our own. KumoMTA for outbound delivery, Dovecot for IMAP, dedicated mail servers. Not a reseller sitting on top of SES. MCP server is included, so agents built on Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible LLM connect natively without writing integration code. Pricing: 5 inboxes free, 100 inboxes for $29/mo, 500 for $99/mo. Docs: https://deadsimple.email/docs.html API reference: https://deadsimple.email/api-reference.html#description/rate... Show HN: Agent Vault – Open-source credential proxy and vault for agentshttps://github.com/Infisical/agent-vaultHey HN! Today we're launching Agent Vault - an open source HTTP credential proxy and vault for AI agents. Repo is at https://github.com/Infisical/agent-vault, and there's an in-depth description at https://infisical.com/blog/agent-vault-the-open-source-crede....We built Agent Vault in response to a question that been plaguing the industry: How do we give agents secure access to services without them reading any secrets? Most teams building agents have run into this exact problem: They build an agent or agentic system and come to realize at some point that it needs credentials in order to access any services. The issue is that agents, unlike traditional workloads, are non-deterministic, highly-prone to prompt injection, and thus can easily be manipulated to leaking the credentials that they need to operate. This is the problem of credential exfiltration (not to be confused with data exfiltration). In response to this, some teams we've seen have implemented basic guardrails and security coApr 22, 2026 4:25 PM
