Show HN: Armalo AI – The Infrastructure for Agent Networkshttps://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47244042Hey HN — I'm Ryan, founder of Armalo AI (https://armalo.ai). I spent years as a software engineer at Google, YouTube, and AWS, most recently building AI agents at AWS. Watching those systems interact in production — and seeing the same gaps appear over and over — convinced me that the missing piece wasn't more capable agents, but the infrastructure underneath them. So I left to build it.Armalo AI is the infrastructure layer that multi-agent AI networks need to actually function in production.THE PROBLEMEvery week there's a new story about an AI agent deleting a production database, a multi-agent workflow cascading into failure, or an autonomous system doing something its operator never intended. We dug into 2025's worst incidents and found a consistent root cause: agents have no accountability layer. You can't Google an agent's reputation. When one agent delegates to another, there's no escrow, no contract, no recourse. State doesn't persist across a network. And as agents start hiring

Show HN: Lip Flip Before and After – Real Results and AI Previewhttps://lipflip.ai/# Lip Flip AI – See Subtle Results Before You DecideCosmetic decisions are personal. And when it comes to your face, even small changes can feel like a big step.Lip Flip AI was created for one simple reason:to help you visualize subtle enhancements before making any commitment.Instead of guessing how a lip flip might look based on other people’s photos, you can now preview a realistic simulation on your own face — in seconds. No injections. No appointments. No pressure.Just clarity.---## What Is a Lip Flip, Really?A lip flip is a cosmetic procedure that uses small amounts of Botox to relax the muscle above the upper lip. When that muscle softens, the upper lip gently rolls outward, creating the appearance of slightly more fullness — especially when smiling. It does not add volume. It does not reshape the lips dramatically. It’s subtle. That subtlety is exactly why many people are curious about it — and also why it can be difficult to imagine the outcome. That’s where Lip Flip AI comes in.---##

Show HN: I built a S3 proxy that combines storage from S3/clouds into one targethttps://github.com/afreidah/s3-orchestratorI wanted offsite copies of my nomad cluster backups without paying. So I started thinking about how to maximize free S3 storage from multiple providers. What if I could just stack them all together and treat them as one big bucket? I started hacking out a simple proxy and then I was having fun, so I kept building. My weekend project turned into what is basically a fully production-ready S3 orchestration service. You configure multiple S3-compatible backends (AWS, OCI, Backblaze, R2, MinIO, whatever), set a quota on each one, and the orchestrator presents them to your apps as a single S3 endpoint. Clients just sees one bucket with no idea files are being spread across multiple s3 providersWhat makes it useful:- Combine free tiers — set per-backend quotas to match each provider's free limit and the proxy fills them in order (pack mode) or evenly (spread mode). 10GB + 10GB + 10GB = 30GB of free offsite storage- Multi-cloud replication — set replication.factor: 2 and every object automatic

Show HN: TypeShim – .NET WebAssembly Meets TypeScripthttps://github.com/ArcadeMode/TypeShimI'm a big proponent of WebAssembly and .NET. When I found out .NET now runs in the browser on WASM with ánd without Blazor, I figured that could be something. Since Blazor is often too big of a step for TypeScript developers, I figured the recently added ability to include a .NET WASM app as a library in a JS bundle could be a good stepping stone for WASM to gain some ground in this JS-heavy web we have.Using the JSExport/JSImport interop is relatively cumbersome, it only supports static methods, has no OOP concepts (like classes, just object handles) and it requires manually writing TypeScript definitions for the exported methods. So I decided to try and make some tooling that would improve the developer experience and reliability higher.Enter TypeShim: a codegen tool that creates a seamless programming experience between .NET WebAssembly and TypeScript. Complete class level exports are translated to C# codegen to automatically define your JSExports/JSImports with a TypeScript class t

Show HN: X402drop – Temporary file sharing paid in USDC via the x402 protocolhttps://www.x402drop.com/I built a temporary file sharing service where payment happens through HTTP 402 status codes and USDC on Base/Arbitrum.The idea: HTTP 402 ("Payment Required") has existed since 1997 but was never really used. The x402 protocol (https://x402.org) finally gives it a real implementation — server responds 402 with a payment challenge, client signs a gasless USDC transfer (EIP-3009), facilitator settles on-chain, client retries with a payment header. No API keys, no OAuth, no accounts.x402drop uses this as the payment layer for temporary file storage:- Connect wallet (SIWE), drag-and-drop files (up to 5 GB each, 10 GB per drop) - Pick a duration (1 hour to 90 days), see a quote ($0.0003/MB/day, $0.01 minimum) - Sign one USDC transfer — gasless, facilitator pays gas - Get a share link — recipients download for free, no wallet needed - Files auto-delete from R2 within ~15 minutes of expiry via cronThere's also an Agent API — AI agents and scripts can create drops programmatically using the sa

Show HN: SmartRuler Pro – ESP32-powered motorized ruler with 0.5mm precisionhttps://smart-ruler.bunnytech.io/My dad cuts window profiles in his workshop and I kept watching him measure, mark, and reposition by hand hundreds of times a day. So I built him a motorized ruler that moves to any position you tap on a tablet. It runs on an ESP32-S3 over BLE 5.3, uses hardware-timed stepper pulses (RMT peripheral, no CPU jitter) to hit 0.5mm accuracy, and pairs with a Bosch GLM laser meter - point, measure, and the ruler moves there. No typing, no transcription errors. You can also upload cut lists from a file or email and it runs each position in sequence - perfect for batch cutting window profiles where you need the same set of measurements repeated all day.Open hardware: off-the-shelf linear rails, NEMA 23 closed-loop stepper, inductive homing sensor. Total BOM is about 470 EUR. I sell the firmware, app (Android + desktop), and a step-by-step build guide for 350 EUR.Video demo: https://youtu.be/GCUHBiIs4VkHappy to answer questions about the build or the ESP32 RMT approach to stepper control.

Show HN: HackerNews.pink – A PWA HN reader with personalized recommendationshttps://hackernews.pink/I think everyone should build their own HN reader at least once in their life. This is mine and its pink. I wanted a good HN experience on mobile something I could pull up on the train and browse comfortably. So I built a PWA that works well on mobile and feels native on the phone. Along the way, I kept adding things: Semantic search – Stories are embedded with OpenAI's text-embedding-3-large and indexed in MongoDB 8.2's Vector Search. Search combines vector similarity and full-text via Reciprocal Rank Fusion, so you can find stories by meaning, not just keywords. Personalized feed: A profile vector is built from your reading history and bookmarks (weighted by time spent and recency). After a few stories, the feed adapts to your interests. Content extraction: A Playwright-based scraper fetches article text, generates thumbnails, and extracts metadata. Real-time updates and infinity scroll. Auth is passkey-first (WebAuthn) and works without personal information. Stack: Angular 21, FastA

Show HN: Boosted LightFace – A Hybrid DNN and GBM Model for Facial Recognitionhttps://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/gujs/article/1794891Hey, I'm the author of this work and the maintainer of DeepFace. In this paper, we ensemble the top 5 DeepFace backbones and feed them into a GBM model instead of relying on a single embedding model. On LFW, this surpasses FaceNet512’s 98.4% accuracy and the reported human-level accuracy of 97.5%, achieving 99.1%.We deliberately avoid retraining on LFW to prevent benchmark overfitting. The base models are trained on large-scale datasets, and we only learn a boosting layer on top of their similarity scores.

Show HN: BustAPI Backhttps://github.com/RUSTxPY/BustAPIBustAPI's original repository was recently locked due to a GitHub account flag. To keep the project accessible, we've set up this mirror. What is it? BustAPI is a Python web framework built on a Rust (Actix-Web) core. It uses PyO3 to handle routing and JSON serialization in Rust, offering performance that rivals Go/Node while keeping Python’s syntax. The Highlights: Speed: Reaches 100k+ RPS on Linux (multiprocessing). Syntax: Uses standard decorators like @app.get("/"). Built-ins: Argon2, JWT, and CSRF protection included. Why it matters: It aims to eliminate the "Python tax" by moving the heavy lifting to a memory-safe Rust runtime. Mirror Link: https://github.com/RUSTxPY/BustAPIThe original project was gaining significant momentum before the lock. We are hosting the code here to ensure the community can continue testing and contributing while the author resolves the GitHub status.
