Show HN: Open-source Kibana alternative for logs and traces in ClickHouseHi HN, Mike and Warren here! We're excited to share some (early) work towards our next major version of HyperDX. HyperDX makes it easy to visualize/search logs & traces on top of Clickhouse (so incident & bug investigations hopefully go by a little easier). For example, if a team is thinking of migrating to Clickhouse for their observability data warehouse [1][2][3] usually due to cost or data privacy reasons, they can easily throw HyperDX on top to do the UI layer for analysis and dashboarding in a dev-friendly way (aka not needing to type paragraphs of SQL to find some logs)Over the past year we've seen a ton of excitement in companies adopting Clickhouse-based observability stacks - but one of the biggest challenges we've seen is that the UI layer on top of Clickhouse is either clunky to use for observability use cases (ex. BI tools), or too tied to a specific ingestion architecture to scale to every use case (we used to be in this category!). For companies that needed more flexibil

Show HN: Phoenix OSS – Applying LLM Spans, Traces, and Evals for AI InsightsWe are the developers of Phoenix, which we released in April of this year with a goal of bringing LLM observability to the notebook. In the time since, the growth of LLM frameworks and complex agent workflows led us to add support for LLM spans and traces and introduce a simple Eval harness for testing the data from those spans. The latest Traces & Spans release of Phoenix offers: -Out of the box tracing for LlamaIndex and LangChain -Fully local execution, no data sent anywhere, outside of your own LLM calls -Ability to get a common dataframe format across frameworks back to a notebook for Evals -Code based LLM Eval harness: light, simple, and fast -Benchmarking scripts for retrieval setup - chunk size, K, and retrieval approachhttps://github.com/Arize-ai/phoenixWe love to hear more from the community about what kind of LLM applications you are building, whether you are using a framework or building from scratch, and how are you running/measuring LLM Evals today. Thinking a lot about wh
