Ask HN: Does AI and XR = New Vision of the Web?Like many of you, I've long felt the web would eventually become some type of virtual reality. It seems only natural to me. However, all attempts to do this so far have failed.Here's my theory:1. AI Bots will be the new website. ChatGPT-level bots that are trained specifically on your own data could replace many uses of websites. Before you know it, we'll be speaking to bots whose sole purpose is to connect us with other bots, just as search engines are websites that connect us to other websites.2. 3D Avatars will embody the AI Bots, meaning the next website is really an AI-powered 3D avatar trained on your data.3. We will soon all have our own personal bot, capable of going out into the virtual world and accomplishing tasks independently from us.4.
