Show HN: Blanked – Compare tech hiring processes by role and companyI've been working on blanked basically I feel like the current hiring process within tech is very opaque and you have to commit to multiple rounds without knowing what it will entail or pay. Trying to make a public source list where you can compare the hiring process at different places like number of rounds, interviews etc. Also people can vote and add their experiences anonymously I want it to be like levels.fyi but for the hiring process. Appreciate any feedback would love any contributions as well would help make it more accurate right now its just whatever i have been able to find via forums and reddit. Also lets you say which companies totally ghosted you and then we rank them. Ghosting is a real big issue people are facing in the job market.

Show HN: Vivace – A single-process Qt media player with interactive DVD menusVivace uses only Qt (v6.11.1 or newer) itself — no Qt Widgets, no external player processes. I built it because I wanted SMPlayer's UI conventions and features without depending on the external player processes(mpv/mplayer).It's a ground-up rewrite, not a fork.- DVD playback with interactive menus, from a from-scratch IFO/PCI parser (no libdvdnav)- a hybrid WSOLA + phase-vocoder approach to speed-adjusted audio, since neither algorithm alone sounds good in both directions- secure credential storage via the OS keychain- casting to a phone/tablet over a small embedded web server- a full SMPlayer-style menu layout.Still early stage (v0.1.1) — feedback and bug reports are welcome.
