We originally just wanted to make them to get the lead out of the game, but we found that they were more shock-absorbative than their lead predecessors. We ship them out of Idaho. Besides `async/await`, which represents cooperative concurrency via the `asyncio` package, Python also provides preemptive concurrency through its `threading` package.
