Show HN: Origami – A simple workspace-oriented terminal managerHey. Just wanted to show-off my project built with the help of AI/LLMs and share my experiences and clear myths I keep hearing and seeing about how AI will take over everything and everyone.I have over 10 years experience in software development so I guess I know a thing or two but of course people are free to form their opinions, these are mine. And they become much more apparent while working on Origami.- Coding with help of AI is not a one-stop shop, nor can you one-shot prompts for anything that can be called worth. Obviously a project of this magnitude is substantially faster to get working but still... lots of working nights and weeks spent on a having something people can use and enjoy and that feels complete.- Software architecture is the most important skill to have and develop if you want to use AI. Without it, you're just vibe coding and you will sooner or later hit a wall. How that wall looks like or its size... depends.- AI/LLMs are statistical machines! They are not creat

Show HN: I've implemented multi-repo workspace support in Agent of EmpiresCoding agent management is all the rage right now, and many tools are being created to fill the gap.As a power user for all tools I've used since I've started my software engineering career, I've always taken the time to test multiple tools thoroughly before deciding on one, and an agentic manager was no different.I've tested many tools, but ultimately landed on Agent of Empires (AoE for short). Why ? Because it's fast, the development is active and it's feature complete, and easy to contribute to.So I did (contribute). In my day to day workflow for my job, I need the ability to start agent sessions against multiple repositories, and while AoE had basic support for it, I spent some time extending it to have full project support which has just been merged! (PR #974, more optimizations coming in the next release) With it, each repository get its own worktree and sandbox but the agent can access them all, which makes it ideal for organizations with separate repositories for frontend, back

Show HN: Inspection Credit – read your inspection, draft the negotiationHi HN. I built Inspection Credit because the inspection-response window in a home purchase is one of the worst-designed parts of the entire transaction. You get a 60 to 90 page inspection report at 11pm. You have 5 days to respond. Half the report is photos of outlets. A third is non-issues. The 3 or 4 things that actually matter are buried on page 47 next to a missing smoke detector. Your inspector legally cannot advise on negotiation. Your agent makes commission when you close, not when you walk. So you decide, alone, in a panic. The product takes the PDF and returns a packet with the negotiable findings, a credit-request letter, an escalation script for seller pushback, walk-away guidance that references your state's standard inspection-response form, and a UPL-defensive disclaimer. $79, refundable if the report turns up nothing worth negotiating.A few engineering notes:(1) The aggregator sites (HomeAdvisor, Fixr, Angi, HomeGuide) disagree by 30 to 50 percent on the same repair scope.
