I've called and exchanged email with "Bio Telemetry, a Phillips company", and all I've received is a stack of paper with a "Daily Patient Report" for each day. (Well I've also received a statement from BCBS saying that they won't pay Bio Telemetry $9,000). My first/primary question to HN is:Do you have advice on how to get the actual data?My second question for non-US readers:Does $9,000 seem excessive?Background: For 10 minutes in April I was seeing double. Fearing that it was a transient ischemic attack, MDs ordered lots of tests. The heart monitor was to check for arrhythmias that could cause a clot. Usually you plan things far enough out (say, 3-6 months) that there’s no reliable forecast. So historical data is your best bet.We’ve observed that the last few years is a much better indicator of what the weather will be like than most data sources which aggregate from 1900 or even 1950.We’ve also added tourism stats, and synced it to weather data. This has been particularly eye-opening. It lets us see when a country experiences over-tourism (e.g., Croatia and Austria) relative to its population.There’s lots more we’d like to build, but we’re releasing it now to get feedback. It’s free and there’s no ads, so if you’re interested and would like to support us, there’s a box to give your email. Ask HN: Is there hope for Microsoft 365 support?https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43829927The company I work for (25friday.com) has been hit with what seems to be a keyword blacklist on Microsoft 365 email.In short, if we send out any email to clients using Microsoft 365 as their email provider containing the textual content "25friday.com" anywhere on the email subject, body or readable attachment (e.g. pdf) the emails fall on a "blackhole" and are neither bounced nor reaching the recipient (they are not in spam or quarantine either).As you might imagine this is a huge problem for us as email is our primary means of communication with our clients and we need to be careful to never include any mention of our domain in any email we send to them.For recipients using personal Outlook emails, the emails are received and sent to spam with a spam score of 9 (maximum score).We've reached Microsoft support and they seem as clueless as we are.
