Anthropic banned my thirteen 20x accounts, what now?Firstly, FAFO, I get it.I was using 13 Claude Code 20x subscriptions. Fable on ultra code.First, yes it was excessive. Yes I was using ultra code for everything unnecessarily, just because I cbf and the cost/month was low for my business.With that out of the way, Anthropic rejected my ban appeal.It was all personal use, just me, doing stuff for my business, I have no employees.Regardless, appeal rejected, no reason given, and any account I create now gets instantly banned.I’ve tried using a VPN, and different credit cards, but my accounts get banned really quickly.The thing that’s unclear, is what exactly is banned? My company? Me personally? My billing address?Am I not allowed to create any new accounts? Show HN: I MitM'd Plex to make remote streaming suck lessI've been hoarding media for a long time. Longer than I care to think about honestly. At this point the collection is large enough that several of the friends and family members I've shared my Plex server with have cancelled their streaming service subscriptions.After getting laid off a while back, I started working on a degree online. It seemed like a good opportunity to spend some time traveling too, so I signed up for Starlink and got a friend to host my Plex server in his basement for the duration. Surely that would be good enough to watch whatever from where-ever.Turns out that no, it's not. Plex really doesn't like streaming over Starlink. It would top out at 8-9mbps in good conditions, often dropping down to 2 or 3, while other streams and downloads would happily hum along at 100mbps+.I spent a little time looking into the issue early on. Vivijure is a web based modular frontend that allows you to collaborate with AI to plan your videos, create images of your cast members and generate all the images for a full LoRA training set, and render your videos either on your own iron (LTX Video) or rent by the second serverless workers (Wan 2.2). It also has integration with several Cloud i2v providers through the interface and everything gets planned in a standard storyboard.json format. I've integrated Real-ESRGAN for video upscaling, MuseTalk for lip syncing your characters to their spoken lines, audio upscaling for speech (GPU based) and music (CPU based). Tell HN: The Codex App is replaced by ChatGPTHi HN. Today Codex (macOS) prompted to upgrade, and it failed - the app is gone, but was not replaced. The dock icon shows a question mark.To fix this I tried to download the Codex app from OpenAI. https://developers.openai.com/codex/app redirects to ChatGPT. The Codex page itself (https://openai.com/codex/) talks about 'now in ChatGPT' and prompts to download.Sure enough, downloading what appears to be Codex downlaods ChatGPT -- and so opening 'Codex' loads all my personal chats, non-work conversations, etc.I cannot emphasise enough how much this is a disaster. I cannot mix my personal and work use - not least just for keeping them separate (I do not want to see personal chats while working.)The OpenAI claim seems to be that you can run it in Codex mode? Yet there is zero UI for this. ChatGPT claims it's got the latest installed.
