Ask HN: I stopped fighting AI over-reliance and built a workflow around itI am a frontend engineer and actively use AI. I caught myself that i never write code manually, only if i have to tweak some styling. I feel lazy and dumb compared to pre-AI era. Even if i have to write some small changes in code that take like 2 minutes - it is easier to spend those 2 minutes explaining everything in details to AI and point out what and how it needs to change. Because i dont have to think about the process, i only explain the idea and desired solution - then wait until its done to review.Thats some kind of degradation. Apple should let us schedule work-hours notifications for specific appsFocus just doesn't cut it. I don't want Jira, Teams, Outlook, Slack, etc. sending me notifications after I've signed off of work, or if its the weekend. I find myself turning of Teams notifications on my iPhone over the weekend, and forgetting to turn it on during work hours. Apple should introduce a feature that schedules work-hours notifications, so you decide what times Teams notifications should be sent to you and during what day of the week. Shouldn't be fixed to 8h, some of us might want it to be turned on between 08:00-10:00 on a Wednesday only. Thoughts?

Show HN: My Fable 5 Project Was a Multiraft Database and Blob StoreLinked from this post is the visualizer and simulator I had Fable 5 create to demonstrate theIn a thread the other day, I asserted it was nice that code is no longer a moat. Getting Raft or Paxos consensus working is one of the most challenging tasks out there, even which etcd.io/raft and hashicorp/raft.The database took about a day for Fable 5 to create. It was updated as tons of work was done on a sandbox app running on top of it.What it delivered was a distributed unified KV and blob store. It automatically does sharding and erasure coding.You'll find something named Private Cloud Platform in the `sandbox/` directory. Will be making a video on it soon going over the ridiculous amount of features it has packed into it. There's some things not fully fleshed out like the docs and spreadsheets (no import/export or cross format support yet), but has other features like a Markdown document editor, Kanbans, and Diagrams.Most of the work since Fable 5 service was restored has been in the Pr
