Show HN: Seedance3AI – a web app for text-to-video, image-to-videoHi HN,I built Seedance3AI because I wanted a single, simple place to iterate on short visual ideas without hopping between tools. It currently supports: - text → video (short clips) - image → video (animate a reference image) - AI image generation (useful for thumbnails/storyboards)The workflow is intentionally minimal: pick a mode, set a couple of creative controls, generate, then download.Implementation notes: - [stack: e.g. Next.js + serverless API + a job queue + object storage] - [anything you learned the hard way: rate limits, retries, prompt history, etc.]What I’d love feedback on: 1) Which controls matter most (duration/aspect/seed/style, etc.) 2) Prompt UX: what’s confusing or missing 3) Any failure cases you hit (timeouts, weird outputs, etc.)[Optional: This is an independent project and not an official ByteDance/Seedance release.]Thanks!

Show HN: AISeedream5 – a simple web UI for Seedream 5.0 imageHi HN,I built AISeedream5 as a lightweight web UI to generate visuals quickly: - text-to-image - image-to-image (with a reference image) - text-to-video / image-to-video (short clips)The problem I was trying to solve: I often want to iterate on concepts (ad creatives, storyboards, thumbnails) without juggling multiple tools or losing prompt history. So I focused on a straightforward workflow: pick a mode, optionally add a reference image, write a prompt, generate, download.Notes: - There’s a small free tier so you can try it without creating a full setup. - [If applicable: Not affiliated with the Seedream/ByteDance team; this is an independent UI.]Tech / implementation: - [Your stack: e.g. Next.js + serverless API + a job queue for renders] - [Any details HN would care about: latency, caching, safety filters, etc.]I’d love feedback on: 1) prompt UX (what’s confusing / missing) 2) what “consistency controls” you wish existed 3) bugs / edge cases you hitHappy to answer questions.

Show HN: I built an open-source wallpaper gallery for GitHub reposHey HN,GitHub has hundreds of wallpaper repositories with thousands of images, but actually browsing them is painful. You either clone gigabytes locally or click through the file browser one by one.So I built WALL·E Gallery. Use existing collections or Paste a repo URL→ instant gallery. How it works: - Fetches repo tree via GitHub (no cloning) - Proxies thumbnails (~50KB instead of 10MB originals) - Works with private repos too (with GitHub token)Infinite scroll, search, dark mode, mobile friendly, self-hostable. No accounts, no tracking.Live: https://walle.theblank.club Source: https://github.com/amitray007/wall-eDo share your suggestions/feedback. Also, I did find my desktop wallpaper from this.

I built a privacy-first streaming player for personal M3U/HLS playlistsI built a player (mobile / TV / web) that only plays user-provided playlists (M3U/HLS), no content included, no ads, no tracking. UI is designed for a premium streaming experience (grid of thumbnails, categories, search, profiles, resume, favorites). I’m mostly looking for candid feedback from folks who actually use playlist-based players — and whether a €2–3/month price for a “ultra-premium” player sounds reasonable. Background (very short) I’m a dev and built this initially for personal use. It works across iOS, Android, Smart TV and a Web client. Playback is HLS-first, playlist import & parsing (M3U) supported, and the server-side component is only used for optional metadata: thumbnail generation, EPG parsing, and lightweight heuristics to auto-group channels into categories. No content is stored or redistributed by me — the app only plays streams you provide. What it does (features, non-marketing) • Import/play your own M3U/HLS playlists. • Grid-based UI with thumbnails and category

Show HN: I built an AI thumbnail generator for YouTubers who can't designI've been wanting to start a YouTube channel for years but kept putting it off because I can't make decent thumbnails and hiring designers is too expensive for me.So I built thumbo.io - upload a photo + text prompt and get studio-quality YouTube thumbnails in ~60 seconds. No design skills needed. If you're able to try it, I have a coupon code "HN100" for the first 5 people who want to try it free (I wish I could give more, budget is tight).I'd really appreciate any feedback on the product, UX, pricing, or anything else. Thanks!

GTM advice from my experience at 2 YC StartupsI’ve been lucky enough to lead GTM for two YC-backed startups and ship multiple AI products from 0 to real adoption. I say “real” because there’s a huge difference between people signing up and people actually using your product (I have seen both)Getting your first 100 real users is brutal. Especially in AI right now. Everyone's building something. Most users have seen it all. They don’t care unless your product solves a very specific, painful problem. Here’s what actually worked for us, not theories, not growth hacks, real dirt-under-the-nails strategies:1. Small, Weird Communities > Broad Outreach Reddit threads with 2 comments. Slack groups with 200 nerds. Discord servers that feel like a nerdy group chat. That’s where early users lives. We used redditsearch.io + Pushshift to find conversations our ideal users were already having.2. Trend-Hacking + Contextual Insertion We didn’t launch on a random day. We launched during the FIFA World Cup and framed our sports commentary AI accordin

Show HN: NoLinkPreview - Share links without triggering previewsI built this simple tool that lets you share links without triggering previews or thumbnails on social and chat platforms.I often wanted to share a link without drawing attention, breaking the layout of a conversation or leaking content (coughRickRollcough) through preview crawlers - but I couldn't find a tool that did that. So I built one.Created with CloudFlare Workers and Pages, it basically appends your URL to https://nolinkpreview.com (so it doesn't cloak or obfuscate the destination). When bots or crawlers follow the link, they receive a plain response with no metadata, thumbnails, or Open Graph tags - nothing to preview. When a user clicks the link, they're immediately redirected to the original URL.There are no ads, tracking, logging or storage of any kind for the generated links or traffic. There is a single Cloudflare Web Analytics snippet on the homepage - just so I can tell if anyone is using the tool at all.Would love any feedback, critique or edge cases you think I should
